[Venting]All I need is an apartment with about 700-900 square feet w/ a washer and dryer in unit that allows 42 lb. dogs...why is it so hard to find?!?!?
Everyplace is too big (= too expensive), or is too expensive (over $1200 plus utilities), or lacks a washer and dryer or won't let me have a dog over 30-35 lb.

I was in a similar situation myself, the other day my buddy/roommate says to me that his girl (soon to be wife) is moving in and since the place we're at is owned by her parents... well you know where I'm going with this. So yeterday I give another buddy a call who's got a studio that he rents out, to put the word out I'm in need of a crib. By coincidence the woman who was renting the place had moved out a week ago and the place is vacant.
Have faith man, things have a way of working out when you least expect it.

She is a Pit/Am Staffordshire mix...I woudl say that she would be fine in a fight, LOL- but there is not way I would ever fight her with another dog.
I wrestle with her all of the time. She gives me the evil eye but does not bite. She really is quite a wussy!

I work in Alexandria, so Springfield is not a bad area. I have seen only 1 or 2 properties for rent along Rolling Road.
Where did your sister find hers? Unfortunately, I am in a time crunch, so I have to move fast.

She was abused by her previous owner. She runs from EVERYTHING...there is a miniture pincer in our community and she runs away like that dog is a beast. She also is scared of the lab puppy across the common area from us. She runs from little kids, adults, and bicycles...theonly things that she is not scared of are rabbits and squirrels.
I hope that she stays docile- it makes her easy to play with.
