i can only go into 5th gear

like the topic says:

this happen to me about 3 times already and the first 2 times i miss shift from 2nd to 5th and my gears (1-4 & reverse) seems like its getting block and it wont let me go in gear, but then as i let my car cool down for a good 10 to 20 minutes it goes back into all gears like normal.

but yesterday the same thing happen and i let it cool down for 1 hour and it still wouldnt go into gear. i try it today (the next day) and it still wouldnt go into gear still

i was told my clutch fork is something in my transmission is out of placebut then i wasnt too sure

anyone know whats wrong?trannys gone?

will it go into gear with the car off? if so it is a clutch or hydraulic component failure. if it still will not go into gear with the engine off the failure is a mechanical on inside the trans.

car wont go in gear with the engine on or off.it only goes into 5th

yes it will still go into neutral but then its kinda hard for me to move to the left side because it feels like something is blocking it but if i move it to the right side it will feel like nothing is wrong

something inside the trans is broken or misaligned.

now i dont get how this happen but then but one day, i woke up to change my clutch fuild but then decided to start up the car before i change it and i was suprise that it went back into gear.it took about almost 2 weeks before it work again
