I can not adjust the analog clock but it runs

i have 2001 QX4. suddenly i can not adjust the time on the clock (forward or reverse) using the little knob. the clock is still running though (just off an hour ) . has anyone fixed this ?

Disconnect your battery to match a convenient " real time " to the stopped analog time in car THEN re-attach battery , maybe ? ?

you know... that is not a bad last ditch solution... in fact the amount of time it will take me to remove the trim to take out the clock and then fix it (basically my post is to see if anyone has ever 'repaired' one of these clocks) is probably less than 5 years worth of disconnecting the battery once every 6 months for day light savings

mvmcali , I have an analog clock nos in box - but for my J30 . If you find that they are the same , if you to buy from me , I can goto storage , I wouldn't want no " ton o' money " for it . Even though the car's clock is now actually stopped , and not running in the J . But me also too thinks a dash 'STINKS' to disassemble !!
p.s. ...... pm me in nicoclub if interested in taking that boxed clock off my hands - IF its same.Of course the " Battery " thing for you probly best.

thanks. im not sure they are same. i think i will try first to pop the clock out and see if its something that i can fix

Since we are on Daylight Savings time for more months than Standard time leave it on DST and mentally subtract an hour for the other months. No sweat, mentalarithmetic.
