hi every one,

i have a sr20det in my 240sx,i can't identify what model, year, or what kind of sr20det i have

it has a red valve cover (redtop)it has the ripped or fin head (blacktop)it has the skinny type O2 sensor (redtop)it has an automatic redtop ECU (63)the throtle body was ones replaced, and they told me that only a blacktop throtle body could fit, not one of a redtop

to me it looks like the engine is a late model blacktop, running on a automatic redtop ecu with its O2 sensor (the skinny type).

so im very much confused, i searched around but i can't find any answerscan any one help me here?

Fin head does not equal to blacktop. A lot of redtops have fin head too. Unless you get a Kouki SR, it does not matter. They are the same, besides ecu and o2 sensor.

You know what? Search. Seems like you have not read the thread about this topic...

post pics of the engine, its probably a redtop.

What are you trying to figure out? Maybe your headgasket is blown.

Why are you running really rich? Replace your FPR.

I'm not an SR guy, so i may be useless here, but doesn't a black top come with a T28 and a Red top with a T25?

Ok, what is this asking? Or is it even a question?

And you know now that it is a redtop?

Lets just assume its a redtop since youre running a redtop ecu. Even though it dosnt matter, if there is a problem its a problem. It does not matter what engine you have.

Think a little bit, check your oil see if it looks milky. Do a compression test.

You dont just climb in the ring with Ali because you think you can box.

i dont think is the head gasket, i don't have water in the oil, i dont exaust in the coolant and the compersion don't look to bad,i have an areomotive FPR , even 20psi at idle still running rich.

here i have some pix of my engine
