Hey y'all,

So a weird twist of fate put me into the market to replace the mrs. car last weekend.

After discussing it over some pho on Sunday we stopped by my work....three hours later....

So long friend, you were a great car.

I've always been a big fan of the G, but have always needed a car that can be safely commuted in in the unpredictable DC weather. The G37x is such a fun car to drive. This ones got nav but we couldn't find the sport or tech package i was hoping for, but sometimes a great deal trumps wants.

I was tempted to get the maintenance contract by some quick math proved it wouldn't pay off for a few years...not a very smart investment overall. We did end up getting the Elite to 100k, a dent contract for four years and wheel and tire protection for a couple of years and 50k.

Good deal!

For the sport option you can always find people parting out their "sport" parts after they upgraded to aftermarket parts. Personally I save it all in case I want to take the car back to stock.

Thanks for the warm...well I don't think welcome is the right word for it but I appreciate it. :)

I think other than the illuminated kick plates, paddle shifters, and some light tint is all this car will be getting...well that and overkill cleaning and maintenance, although I do plan on running 5k intervals.
This one will be getting nothing but premium, ester, and grapeseed microfilters. It's headed in tomorrow morning for its first alignment and software update check.

I plan to keep it in this condition until I'm done with it.

Looks like now all bumpers have the three holes, but the sport bumper is slightly different.

Thanks, I wish I had, in 2011 they updated the front end. The 12xS looks like this
Image
It really looks different in person.
The rear looks very similar and the sidesills are very lightly flared.
I really like the awd sport wheels but the ride quality is so nice with a more generous sidewall.

It took em years to add external fog lights but it was well worth it.

The 2013 xS coupe gets the M 37/56 Sport. Which looks very similar to the G Sport brakes we have been putting on Ms for years.
