im looking for a dvd player for my 92 240 ive found 2 that i like and the choices are pioneer avh-p7480 for 1399.00,pioneer avh-p7490 for 1669.00 and clarion vrx925d for 1489.00 im leaning for the clarion because i dont like pioneer but they both have the same features also clarion has a great dsp and crossover.so what would you get and also what do you have im looking at putting a great audio system in my car and the sr swap so any help is great

i'd go with pioneer, just because they're a more trusted and well-known brand. they have a good rep.

Have you considered the Panasonic or the Alpine. I heard that they are both good. My brother in law had the Panasonic DVD player with 7inc monitor in his 4-Runner. It was pretty cool. The alpine ones look badass too but never had experience with it before. If you are on a budget and dont mind having 2 deck, buy the Sony 7inch monitor with a built in receiver (around 7-800 if you look around) and buy an indash dvd player (4-500). I would go with Pioneer between the two since it is more reputable.

I'd buy a $200 sony dvd player for my bedroom and spend the rest on go-fast goodies
