i should welcome my self to nico first hey my name is anthony im from north new jersey new to the tuner scene and im pretty newb at forums as well... i bough myself a 1994 240sx convertable.. with 198,xxx miles (this is my second 240) my first was a black hatch with an sr20det (blacktop) im in the process of doing the engine swap myself +5 speed conversion with a buddy of mine who knows his stuff

just 1 quick question about the 240 vert... the button doesnt drop the top or raise it... can i break something if i drop the top myself... and also it SHOOTS out Hydro fluid everywhere when i do put it down myself

Congrats, and welcome to the forum.

As for your top situation..

There is a handle on top of the pump in the trunk. Make sure you turn it to manual mode. That should allow you to drop the top yourself without losing all the fluid. However, depending on where your leak is, you may lose it no matter what. Your first job will be figuring out what is leaking and then fixing it. No point in having a 'vert if you can't put the top down right.

Check the sticky FAQ's thread for a link to the convertible FSM supplement. That will give you pictures and diagrams and descriptions for diagnosis and repair of the top, pump, and rams.

If you get stuck, let us know and we'll help out as best we can.

Good call on the registry! You beat me to it. But you forgot to post pictures, so you're gonna be in trouble for that. It's ok though, we'll get over it really quick.
