I bought My 240 back for $240 bucks!!!!!!!

Hey you may know about my accident not to long ago. check out the links in my sig. But the Ins. was going to give me $2800 for my 240 and I asked how much to buy it back they said $240 so I said ok, ill buy it back so now i got my 240 back which Im very happy about and got $2600 left over. Needless to say Im a very happy camper right now. Just thought I would share.

buyin a Grand am for $1600 and 450 shipped to me. but Im gonna resell it when the 240 is fixed.

why not just get another 240 and transplant all the stuff you had on ther other one to the new one? It makes a hell of alot more sense than getting a grand am. You have no guarantee that the frame is straight on the 240 anymore, and it will cost you alot more to fix it than to get a new one. think about it.

If you want a reliable daily driver get something other than a grandam, i have heard nothing but bad and the one I used to drive blew up after like 8 yrs of age. But I agree with what everyone else said as well.

I had a grand am before, they are high maintenance cars, you treat it right it will treat you right. But I will admit you will get some that just crap out on you. But my last one was a great car. I got a good job right now and I will have the extra money to work on the 240, but I need another car for when the 240 is in the shop. It will be done hopefully around Christmas time, I need another car until then.

Well, before you formulate this great plan of yours, get the frame checked out to make sure it isnt bent in any way.

If the frame is bent, you might as well scrap it again, cause it will never handle the same again and it can cause accidents that will make the last one look like childs play.

yeah, its already at the body shop and I know the owner so im getting a good deal on it. But they have really good high tech machines there so if it is a little bit bent Im sure it will go back together but I nor he believes the frame is bent by checking out the damage.

Front wheel drive GM is a waste of space. Nothing but headache and poor build quality. Your money though so ignore my rants.
