I already scared the girlfriend with it, hahaha. I drove to pick her up straight from buying the car. I threw it around a turn a bit too fast and got a little sideways on accident. (Disclaimer: I am not a drifter)

Now accepting donations to the hamburger fund. :gapteeth:

UPDATE!

I've always, always wanted a black car. After seeing all the cracks, scratches, and swirls after washing my Miata, I think I might be over the black thing. :lolling:

Pretty sure my rear is slightly lower because of the Bilsteins versus the stock suspension in front. The slight incline I parked on didn't help things.

The driver seat does have the typical tear but I accidentally covered it up when I took this.

That car used to belong to someone who worked at Radio Shack corporate HQ?

It's possible. Guy I bought it from didn't work there. He bought it from his friend originally, didn't hear where that guy worked.

There was one just like that parked in the garage when I worked there, hard to believe there are 2x immaculate black on tan hardtops with those wheels in this area...

I bought it less than a month ago, the previous owner had it for a couple years, his friend had it I assume the entire time before that. When did you work there? The guy I bought it from worked for NAPA corporate I think. I guess him switching jobs in those two years isn't out of the question. It's very possible.

Just a couple with my phone while there was still some light. Forgive my shaky hands, I hadn't eaten in 13 hours.

I paid more than I wanted to originally but feel it's going to be worth it. I was planning on buying a cheaper, much worse condition car today until this popped up this morning.
My friend would punch you in the face for a Miata he is having a hard time finding a decent one which doesn't cost alot....

mine cost me $1,500 with hard top and stuff. the paint was trashed but it ran and drove fine.

Just a hint: swapping the engines on these cars is really easy, there are only a handful of wires and vacuum hoses to be worried about. If you can get a deal on a non-running car and a motor to put in, I'd suggest doing it.
