I bought a heavy duty 12V tire inflator - How many amp is our socket?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I'm 99% that they are both using 15A fast burn fuses.

If I were you I would build something that connects directly to the battery, and has a cigarette lighter female attachment at the other. I spent some time Googling this and came up with nothing. Making something like this would take <1hr and require basic electrical knowledge and would be the safest way of running a high current drawing device like a compressor.

Thanks for the reply. I bought the SLIME heavy duty tire compressor.

Takes about 3 minutes to fully inflate regular tire.

only $50.xx at WALMART. Regular price is $79.99

This one needs 15 amp to power it up..... I`ll check that female cigarette

lighter connector and split it to - and + directly to the battery.
