I bought a 1980 280ZX I wondering if it's a good buy.

Hey, my names Nic and I just recently traded a $3000.00 car for This 1980 280ZX, I was wondering if it was a good deal or not, I would appreciate the help.

The paint on it isn't the best but there's no rust and no dents.

interior is in I would say decent shape, the dash is cracked a little bit but that's the only major thing inside.

the rims are nice, they're even the original wheels.

New clutch, new slave and master cylinders.

Full-tune up.

It only has 110,000 miles on the car.

What car got traded?

I wouldn't pay 3k for a 280zx. I would pay 3k for a nice rustfree 240z tho.

If you like the 280zx and it runs like a champ, then it was worth it.

All depends, did you owe any money on the 3k car? Did you get any cash back? I wouldn't pay 3 grand for that car myself, plenty around in cleaner shape for less money. In fact there is a nice one on fort myers craigslist for 900 bucks. If it runs good, drives good and your happy that is all that counts. I miss my 280 it was a fun ride.
