1- Which tires are the best? I live in Colorado, so consider the snow2- The breaks need to be replaced, should I do it at Nissan dealer? orany shop can do it for me?3- The navigation did not recognized my address, because our are is new, what should I do?

1. After doing some research, I decided on the Cooper CS-4 tires recently (at 61K miles) for my 04 SE. I found them locally for $150, including installation and with a good warranty. But I'm on the coast in SE MA, so snow wasn't a big concern. The factory Goodyear's were fine in the little snow/ice we get here for the 5 winters we used them since buying the car. I'll be able to better evaluate the winter performance of the Coopers in a few more months. There are many brands of tires available for the first gen Mo's - something that wasn't the case when they first came out (and I believe is now an issue for 2nd gen owners). Oh, and my original tires had enough life left in them that I kept 2 around just in case there was a problem with any of the Coopers - which there wasn't. At 61K in March when I replaced them, however, I knew they wouldn't get me through another inspection (just done this week).

2. I also changed my brake (I assume that's what you mean) pads for the first time a couple months ago. At 65K the original pads still had a lot of material left (could have easily gone another year). But since I had already bought new pads and had the wheels off to inspect the old ones, it was only a matter of taking a few extra minutes on each wheel to put the new ones on. The whole job took less than an hour in my driveway (no bleeding was needed), and cost $50 for the pads for all 4 wheels. Personally, I'd never pay dealer labor rates to do brake work. But then, in over 40 years of car ownership, I've never paid anyone to do any of my brake work. Mo pads were among the easiest of any I've replaced.

3. I can't help with your factory Nav system, since I use a portable (tomtom) that I move from car to car as needed. We just used it in our Mo for a trip from MA to NC. If it's any consolation, our tomtom doesn't recognize my home address either, since it has my street switched with an adjacent street. GPS's aren't perfect.
