I just downloaded that vid from another forum. Very nice!!! It's a lot harder to do that stuff with a gas powered R/C car though!! Especially when your little single piston motor is pumping out over than 1hp!!!

http://www.yokomousa.com will be releasing "drift" rc's very soon (electric)

and yeah nitro's are hard as hell to drift (smoothly anyways), electrical tape around the tires helps getting the car sideways.

Those rear wheels... Were they regular tires covered with thin plastic tubing, or plastic replacements for the tire? I'm gonna get one now... i thought I wanted a HPI nitro, but maybe not anymore.

IDK what tires they use, but when you buy the car, it is set up especially for drifting.

there were some guys with bada$$ drift R/C electric cars at D-Day in tampa this weekend:)... they were using PVC pipe cut to the right width as tires! seems like a good idea. I'll have to try it out on my nitro car:pface

this was one of the cars from D-Day... Skyline GT-R 2000 :drooling old skool at its finest!

i don't honestly remember right now :pface... I think it was ABC Hobby (another japan-only company) but some guy on ebay often has cool old school japanese car bodies... 240z's, skylines, silvias, ae86, etc... I think mine ran me about $50 shipped from Japan:)

They had those at D1 last weekend. It was pretty cool the way those little cars could hold a drift.
