First of all.......... you guys rock! This forum has helped me and hopefully I have put some information that helped others.........

I am in the process of installing my SPOILER with a LED light in it and I am dumbfunded when it comes to the OEM LED light. it looks like it's glued in. Also, I noticed when I remove the "boot" for the wiring, I can access it them their.

So my question is........ do I leave the OEM led light and just tapp in to the wiring or do I have to remove the LED off the car.

Thanks ahead of time!

just leave it there and unplug it if the spoiler has one on it too. No sense in having to 3rd brake lights.

+1

That's what we did with my wife's car. My car came with the factory spoiler which is different from the Nissan accessory spoiler, BTW. It uses the original LED where the accessory spoiler has a larger one.

I guess you decided to keep the car, after all?

looks like I am going to keep it until 160 kms... another 8 months. It has now 90 000. Funny but the dealer has it booked in for 3/4 of the day to do repairs... seat needs to be changed, look for funny noise, recharge the a/c compressor........and a few other things...

This is what is killing me! But I guess I need the time off...haha

Thanks again, I will be keeping the orignal light under the spoiler and tapping in the harness.
