So my swap went awsome and all that, but there is always this burning smell. I figured out it is the oil line to the turbo isnt tightened down all the way and now small amounts of oil drip onto the exaust housing and makes my car smell like flowers. Now I cant get to it without taking off the manifold or investing in tools other than the K-mart toolset I used. Im lazy and cheap. Guess I should have checked that before installing :beatfreak

doh! that fitting is one of the most annoying fittings in the world to get to too. If you have to rip it out again, it only takes 30 minutes to remove the turbo and manifold

yeah that sucker's a pita to tighten once it's all assembled. I did the same thing with it being slightly loose, fortunately I was able to get it tightened by slipping a wrench in there and praying. lol

my dumbest thing i did:

I didn't get the lock tabs on the turbo pressed in good enough, and two of the 4 nuts on the turbo -> manifold flange backed all the way off and blew out a $20 metal gasket.
