ok, i raced a new mustang. beat him the first two races. 3rd race some how my maf hose came off and my car died. put it back on and now my car is slow, has no kick to it like it used to. drives like its in limp mode but theres no codes. the exhaust note seems quiter too. the engine sounds fine and makes no bad noises. anyone have any ideas? i cant figure it out.

yes, revs up fine. just has less power. sounds restricted. i took the exhaust all apart and the intercooler pluming apart too. dont understand it.i have it set at 12psi and that hasnt changed.

could a maf just get out of wack and cause the engine to loose power?

Maybe when the hose came loose it also loosened the connector or did something to the heating element in the maf. Just a guess, lemme know.

disconect the battery and let the power drain. And see if clearing the ECU works.

I'd definitely either see if you can try using someone else's MAFS, or take a multimeter to yours and see if the signal is what it should be.
