so guys. i'm a little bummed. so the story goes like this...

This morning i had to take an AP test (yes i am still a high school student) and it was raining outside. SOoOo i had to make that decision either to drive or to walk to school. i live on the boarder where it's pretty far a walk but it's a pretty close drive. since it was raining i decided to drive.

i dont have a parking spot at school so i decided to just park in a visitor spot (which apparently a f***in sin for students...) anyways. about 5 other people who took the test also parked there and there cars were fine, but after i come back i find my car GONE. worst feeling in the world. its kinda like your guts being teared out... you cant tell if you should cry or kill someone. esp since it was a G.

i find out its towed and now i need to live through a whole day w/o my car in my driveway. I'M SO DEVASTATED and i hate life!

I want to feel bad for you, but since you got YOUR G while still in High School, I don't. I bought a POS $200 87 s10, more rust than hp....

Lucky son of a &%@*#.

However, did you leave 'student-like' things in your car, like books and alike? Perhaps lots of bumper stickers, or other 'teen paraphinalia'? If so, you targeted yourself. If your gonna park where you shouldn't, at least try and make sure your car looks like someone's who should.

They always tow the most expensive car. That way they know they will get paid for their effort. Totally sucks that it was your car. At least it wasn't stolen.

i keep my car pretty clean and i have nothing in it pretty much. i guess the smoked taillights gave it away.

LOL... I remeber doing stuff like that in HS... I had a lexus is 300 and would park it in the staff lot! I worked at a bank and always had my suit in the back seat...

I got to park in a covered area and was great! car never got wet in the rain nor did it have sun on it all day!

But my car was stock

I know your exact feeling.

I once parked in an unassigned covered parking and my ******* neighbors decided to call the tow company and had my I30 towed. I wake up the next morning to see my car gone and the bungholes parked in the spot (I guess it was assigned to them, but they parked in 2 other assigned spots as well...they never got towed).

Anways, the tow company guys were jerks. They tried charging me $400 to get my car back (my city doesn't have a maximum tow fee). I did some homework and scared the owner of the company. First, I stood outside of their business and called the police (who never showed up), then I told them that they were over charging for my city (most of the surrounding cities have maximums). The other issue is that the tow company wasn't licensed to tow vehicles in my city (only private tows, not violation tows). So after all of that and getting chummy with the owner, he dropped the charge down to $200 and guaranteed me a further refund if I found the city maximum and brought it to him.

One night I was with a girlfriend and I parked in her apartment's parking lot, which was permit only, but we were going upstairs to drop stuff off, get some other things and leaving within 5 minutes. We come back down and there's a tow truck with my G's *** in the air trying to maneuver it out of the parking spot. I stopped dead in my tracks and my gf ran to the truck yelling put it down put it down. The guy said $100, I was like fine, I just want it down. I ran to the nearest ATM, pulled out $100, ran back, and the majority of the night I spent trembling seeing that image of my car in the air in my head.

And please don't get all emo on us. The emo culture is just

the car had 200 miles when i dropped off my car at the dealership. its a black on tan ex35, loaded with navi and everything. im actually surprised, since normally infiniti loaners are stripped out cars with sunroof and leather only. It now has 600 miles on it. id do those things but see, i like the dealer and i like continuing to get cars. they give out either ex's or G35x's. not a bad thing at all.

Wow, a hundred bucks?? One time I saw my neighbor's car about to get towed and she ran out as they lifted the car. She was arguing and about 5 mins later her boyfriend came out. I was watching the whole time and when the bf came out, I just yelled "BEAT HIS @$$!" and the guy dropped the car instantly.

the first (original) one lasted 16000 miles. I need to do three point turns to get out of my parking spot at home. when i would do that, the car would take a few seconds to swtich from reverse to drive. then it would slam into gear. i took it in and they said the transmission pawl was broken, aka need new transmission. the second transmission liked to choke when i needed it most. i'd be on the high way and would need emergency throttle, so id floor it to avoid an oncoming semi, the car would choke, the transmission would double downshift and then disengage for a few seconds.

Transmission #3, they installed and then realised that it was damaged during shipping

Transmission #4 on the way from japan.
