How exactly would this work?

Perhaps the red car was just painted and the paint wasn't dry yet?

Either it's a joke or a very stupid person. Not possible. Even if you did get red on your car, you'd get it on the WHOLE car, not just the painted bodywork.

That's just BS. Anything that is soluble enough to come off with soap and water will ...wait for it...come off with soap and water if you were to wash it again.

I prefer white to orange in most cases. The ZR1 is definitely one of those cases.

I can't think of a car that looks best in white. While I like the PAINT on my LS, I wish the CAR was a different color. Sure, metallic pearl is nice. But it doesn't flatter the car. Same goes for the Vette. White looks "nice." It doesn't look amazing, and it doesn't do anything for the car. Any car that looks good in white would look better NOT white.

Everything looks better in black.

Or very dark grey. While black is exceptionally sexy, it has two downsides: it's hard to keep clean, and it can hide the details of body lines. Gray is nearly as sexy, but tends to look cleaner and still gives some highlight to body lines.

Very few cars work in orange. VERY few.

But name a car. It looks better in black. EVERY CAR. Better in black. Henry Ford had it right.

I kind of despise black cars for the reason you stated. It hides all the nice lines. I'm at a point were, especially for exotic cars, I need an amazing color. Orange is just my favorite color in general, but when I see a car with good lines, it needs to look like a glistening, ripe, juicy, fruit just waiting to be plucked (Gone in 60 Seconds reference intended.)

White, silver, and black dont do this for me.

Yellow Vette is my first color of choice by far. It is almost the only car that needs must be yellow.
