i am pissed and sad because today i go to get in my car and notice that someone decided to key my new altima on the drivers side and passenger's. I wondering does anyone know how much the price its going to be to get it repaired or any tips about get repaired i will be grateful.

If it's not deep, you can get someone to buff it out. Else, you will have to repaint.

Were you parked crooked taking up 2 parking spots or parked really close to someone else's car?

If not then it might be something personal, and if you get it painted they may do it again. If it happened at your work place then more than likely it was personal.If it happened at a mall or someplace random like that then you were probably too close to someone's car and they had a short temper.

Friend of mine actually keyed the word d!ck in the side of someone's car for parking diagonal taking up 2 spaces. Was an M3 with my favorite paint color sigh... I could see letting the air out of the tires would cause some inconvenience. They could just refill them with air. But gouging their car is just going too far.

no it was in my driveway which makes things alot worse but i filed a claim and brought it to a shop so they can fix it and im goin to have to put cameras becuase they probably will do it again seeing that i got it fix.

My car got keyed 2 times...1. A friends sister who was jealous of my car 2. A random, i was out of state parked infront of a friends house.

I will say this though... In my office parking lot, there is a "spot and a half" where the "hottest car in the lot" parks... (we all know im there)... and we all have cars we care about..

LET IT BE KNOWN... I WILL NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO KEY ANY CAR IN MY PRESENCE... I stand up for the guy whose not there because hopefully someone will do it for me one day...

I would not hesitate for 1 minute to punch someone in the back of the head with my keys in my hand if i saw them defacing a car... I have a sharp vault key on my ring... lets see how "joe average" likes it when i drag my key across his BODY.

Show some self-respect and stop a friend from doing something like this... What are you one of those people who pushes women and children when theres a fire?

Some kids dont have snazzy new cars man... Keep your eye out for the guy driving a 92 accord who gives you the 'eye'...

You can easily mount a infra-red camera outside your house high, and have it tied to a time-lapse software on your computer... i can give more info if you need it...

A quicker fix may be a sensitive alarm system...

Showing off in HS seems cool till someone screws with your ride... teenagers think differently... When i had my brand new 2000 mustang with chrome wheels, tinted windows, underbody neon... yeah i looked like fast and furious (before the movie came out!) but i also attracted enough attention to cause problems...

People are D**ks!!! Its just worthless to harm someone property it just shows that you are a skirt and arent man enough to take it face to face. Sorry to hear about your car and hopefully you get it fixed soon. Good luck!

Yeah, people ARE d*cks. Its pretty sad that you can't have nice things w/o someone f**king with them.I had a nice ride in HS that was loaded to the gills w/ Rockford Fosgate subs, amp and the best Pioneer deck and mids/highs. I used to rock it pretty hard, in particular, I used to flaunt it in the parking lot where all the cholos used to hang. Sure enough, my car was broken into 3 times in two years. My car was under my father's insurance at the time, so he suffered the consequences also. Now he can't get AARP because of the claims he made for my stuff! My theory was that the cholos didn't like me, my car and my music because I'm Hispanic but don't act like a little banger. (I'm more fond of Pink Floyd, so you KNOW what kind of guys I hung out with in HS)

That sucks donkey balls!! The same thing happened to my supercharged Frontier. The WHOLE truck was keyed; every single panel. My insurance cut me a check for $2400 in damages. I used that money to put a down on my new Altima so I guess everything worked out, sort of.
