first of all(1.) Is dinero (cash/price) going to be a problem - whatcha wanna spend... what it take's or what cha got

(2.) Are you willing to give up your (A)ctive suspension option

1.) $1000 would be as much as i could probably dish out.

2.) I didn't know i had "active suspension"

You don't, but welcome to NICO anyway.

If you only have $1K and do all thework yourself, you can replace with OEM struts, shocks and worn rubber parts, including strut bearings in front.

Welcome to NICO

Wish I were new rather than old.

You can get the KYB SR Specials from member OneTonGarage and a set of Tein from FalkDesigns, or Espelirs, or if you don't want to scrape driveways and speed bumps, the out of production Eibachs.

In addition to replacing worn parts, there is one inexpensive mod that will significantly improve handling: replace the rear touring stabilizer bar with the much thicker bar from the standard 97 model. The result is much less see-sawing and much better body control in general. The touring rear stabilizer bar is much less stiff than the standard model bar.

The standard rear stabilizer bar and associated bushings are about $120 from Scottsdale Infiniti.

just clamp them coil springs together and weld a coil together for about a 1-1.25" drop. I did it on my BMW 540i. Weld with good amperage in spots for 180* so the spring is compressed evenly and you don't take the temper out of the spring.

Electronically adjustable shocks were standard on t model 1999-2001 and 2000 aniversary edition.
