I searched and followed the directions to upload pics but I could not find the "upload photo" button in the top right of the member's galleries page. I have posted in the new "sign up q45) sticky. Can someone help me? thanks, John

Sometimes teh photopost doesnt work......

You can upload pictures directly to the NICO server assuming they are at or below roughly 500kb... Or you can upload them to Q45.org... http://www.q45.org/gallery

As suggested, I posted them at: http://q45.spilky.com/gallery/v/?g2_page=37 The car is two toned, copper over white. Read my q45 "check in post", if you like, and then tell me what you think. I am working on the mud flaps now. Thanks, John

Purpose of hood scoop? (Aesthetics/functionality/etc...)

The scoop is not functional. Would be, but survey showed we would have had to damage the hood structure too much. It is the smallest and shortest I could find Actually looks much bigger in the pictures because of the reflection off of the hood itself. The first article old I read about the original Q45 called it the "Luxury Hot Rod", so I went with that.

My dad built the Z car 30 years ago. We were going to build one more outrageous Z but I don't have the time so we sold our project and I started on the Q myself. That is how he became interested in Datsun/Nissan etc.

You can see all about the old Z at: HybridZ.org

then, Body kits & Paint, then page 2, then, Old IMSA flare / body kit thread

This Z is mild compared to some of the others on that site. Most of the people on the site are shop owners, painters, engineers, engine builders, etc. They all really know what they are doing. It is probably the most professional site on the net.
