Hey everyone,

I am a recently proud owner of a 05 g35 sedan ( i love this car) and i am from Miramar Fl.

With my car whenever i change gears (automatic transmission) P - R or P - D and visi versa i hear a clicking sound.

Any suggestions or solutions???

Can you describe the noise better? I'm not sure if it's not normal.

Any AUTO trans guys wanna chime in?

I believe that is just the sound of the transmission switching between modes - nothing wrong.

It's just a click right after you shift that sounds like it's coming from the transmission, right?

Yeh it sounds like the transmission, i hear it right when i change gears. When it clicks sounds as if it is selecting or engaging the gear the gear.

HAHA!!!! for some reason I do believe you. So i check with the dealer, the sound is cause by the rear Axel needing to be greased.
