I was at a stop light and someone said "your car is smoking" I said I know but watch this and floared it all the way up to 90 mph, it wuz great, the next light the chick said wow, is it supposed to smoke like that. I had a good laugh! I dont know weather to get a new turbo or replace the center section, garrett quoted 325 for a replacement center on my turbo, I think I am gonna order it tomarow! I am smoking pretty bad!
So? How about you use your high school diploma for some good and use proper grammar.... and I think I might be alright with my turbo, I found a big oil leak coming from my upper timing cover leaking right onto my manifold, I believe that oil is getting in and smoking through the exhaust......I hope!!!! I am gonna pul the sucker off and redo the rtv tomarrow morning. I just got back from the beach and tired/dont feel like messing with it I am seriously hoping that the turbo is OK.BTW with bad seals in the turbo would it survive a cross country drive. I am in the millitary with orders to washington state and hafta drive there on the 21st of july!j-z wrote:yeah thatd be a fried turbo. my lude did the same thing after a long road trip of cruising at 90 mph with no oil restrictor on -3 feed line. did you get the turbo brand new? if i were you id def sell that pos for something more suitable for street driving. something like a .63 a/r seems to be what everyone likes for street ka. you wont have to shift right when you reach full boost either, thats ridiculous. what does your return line look like and what size feed are you running? go to ams and check out their turbos.
Aww coming up here to Fort Lewis I see....1995240sxSE wrote:
