finally I am boosting again, I am so happy. Went for a ride tosay for a while and I LOVED IT!!!! I am still having a few problems, like I think I have a crap turbo, I am pretty sure a seal is bad cause It is smoking a bit at idle and is making some funny noises, but I am boosting again, I am looking for a smaller turbo cause once my turbo gets up to 11 psi I have to shift, and that sux, I wanna stay in boost longer! Oh well I am gonna get a smaller one from somewhere other than EBAY. I hope it last for a while!

TURBOS ARE FUN!!!

Hopefully my starts up tomorrow. My crank rotated on me while putting the cams back in. So both cams were off one tooth. He checked the HG so hopefully it don't leak no more. Probably have a dream tonight about boosting

i can give you details about boosing if you want, It is almost better than sex! I think my problem isnt too big of a turbo but my timing is not dialed in right, cause my msd pulls timing when boost is on and it is perfect, but when not in boost it doesnt feel right, boost is all that matters...just kidding I am gonna redo my timing tomarrow. I deffinately have a blown turbo seal! I am gonna wait till I redo my timing to order a new center sectoin on my turbo, If I get better response I am gonna keep my turbo in there! I like it!

I am pretty sure it is a .70 ar t3o4e I got my msd at 1 11-13 psi, but I am positive that my turbo seal is blown. I was at a stop light and someone said "your car is smoking" I said I know but watch this and floared it all the way up to 90 mph, it wuz great, the next light the chick said wow, is it supposed to smoke like that. I had a good laugh! I dont know weather to get a new turbo or replace the center section, garrett quoted 325 for a replacement center on my turbo, I think I am gonna order it tomarow! I am smoking pretty bad!

yeah thatd be a fried turbo. my lude did the same thing after a long road trip of cruising at 90 mph with no oil restrictor on -3 feed line. did you get the turbo brand new? if i were you id def sell that pos for something more suitable for street driving. something like a .63 a/r seems to be what everyone likes for street ka. you wont have to shift right when you reach full boost either, thats ridiculous. what does your return line look like and what size feed are you running? go to ams and check out their turbos.

and I think I might be alright with my turbo, I found a big oil leak coming from my upper timing cover leaking right onto my manifold, I believe that oil is getting in and smoking through the exhaust......I hope!!!! I am gonna pul the sucker off and redo the rtv tomarrow morning. I just got back from the beach and tired/dont feel like messing with it I am seriously hoping that the turbo is OK.BTW with bad seals in the turbo would it survive a cross country drive. I am in the millitary with orders to washington state and hafta drive there on the 21st of july!
