Alright, so there is a '92 240 for sale locally here, female driven, for sale for 1k.
The good:Frame is straightno rustbody is "okay" not perfectthe interior is in somewhat decent shapeit is low mileage for a '92 no sunroof
The bad:Automatic <- this one is keyhail damage but not too badcracked dash
The thing is, in my area, stock 240's are rare. However, I have been wanting a 5 speed. 5 speeds around here I have seen go for like 2 grand, and I really dont want to spend that much right now.
So here is my dilemma. Do I go with the 1k automatic in pretty decent shape, or wait for the 5 speed? (I have been waiting over a year to find one in good shape and all) Thank you, feel free to make fun of me for being an indecisive n00b
out of curiosity, what parts would be needed to complete a 5 speed swap if I later got a full SR20 swap? I know it comes with the transmission and stuff, but I also know it would not come with the pedal assembly and stuff. And since I am not extremely good with cars yet, I do not know. My brother and neighbor will be helping me with all I do to the car. (Sorry for not searching, I promise to next time)
Thanks everybody.
