Nice reference, this board needs more BattleTech. :) Speaking of which, can you imagine if this tech is adapted to a UGV (unmanned ground vehicle)? They wouldn't even need to pay me for getting behind the wheel for some peacekeeping operations, hell...I might even pay to do it.

Of course, I'd need a custom paint job, or at least a logo.

Eff yeah! I'd definitely be a Merc rather than being house-affiliated, though. :) You can always get clan-tech by capturing enemy battleframes, plus, I want Omnimounts.

For the casual observer, this thread isn't about Mechwarrior or Battletech -- it's about a DARPA project to create a bipedal robot that runs 50mph.

It is, however, a robot chicken. So that almost brings us around full circle.
