Post

Just wanted to introduce my self to everyone. My name is james, and I am in love with cars. It started with my step fathers 72 short bed with 350 and 5 speed to the floor, then my mothers 96 impala ss, then my love for nissan's started with the R32 GTR. of course i never have seen one in person yet. My mother got a i think it was a 2001 20th aniversary Maxima and that car was nice. I then bought a 03 evo 8, so she traded her maxima and got a 03 G35 sedan with the 6 speed. It was pearl white with blk leather interior. I still love that car to death. But now i am a father of a beautiful 5 yr old girl and had to get rid of my evo 3 yrs ago and I am craving another car. I have always loved 240's. and the endless possibilties that comes with this car. I am looking to get rid of my cerrent ride and find an s13 coupe. Maybe i'll get lucky

I am on several other fourms as well and i hope i am welcomed to this one too.
thanks guy/girls
James

i had a similar situation, i had a 03 evo also, put down 394 awhp on the last dyno tune, i loved the car but it was $$$ to maintain and difficult to work on....

after getting married and finding out that my son was on his way, it was time to sell her

so i sold it, got a dd and a s13 fb... i love it and dont regret my decision at all

You sound like you have an action plan in the works and I don't want to cause any trouble, but I do want to mention that the Nissan 240SX may not be the best choice for someone with a 5 year old daughter. Just my thoughts, you do what you feel comfortable with!

Again, welcome to NICO and good luck with whatever car you choose!
I guess you would be right if this was our only car. But my wife has a 06 mazda 6, and it has plenty of room. I am a full time fire fighter and I work 24 hr shifts(not including part time job(s) so i am gone every third day/night. My little girl only rides in my car 1-2 times of the week at best and its just me and her in it, so I dont' need a 4 door car. When i need the room of a 4 door, we take my wifes car. thats why we have it. Heck if I could have been able to keep my evo8 three years ago it was the perfect size for my family of three.
But i am looking at the 240 because, where the back seat may be small, it is still usable.
Plus i don't have a buget for the sedans that I want. I am a big awd fan. the evo spoiled me of that. So I would really like to have a wrx impreza, or heck I really like my wifes mazda 6 and wouldn't mind getting a mazda speed version. But for the buget that I have in mind the 240 really fits in best for me now, and the wife loves the way a 240 looks. Not to say things wont change in the next month, year, etc....

Thanks guys for all the heys.
