so the people did indeed trade in the car, and with pulling quite a few strings he bought the car for me, but my mom to drive until I turn 16 ( you have to be 16 to get your licence ) So I go tuesday to get my permit and guess what car I am driving..My 240 lol! I just don't know how I got this car, still, I really wanted a Turbo S beetle, I feel jiped but its still pretty quick and I am a teenager and I did steal this car while they were asleep, 93 in 3rd isn't bad at all (impressed me) now if I only chiped it!!! So I gotta know, what for $5000 can I through in this car to make it go really fast, but I really hate those ricey mufflers so thats outta the question.. Oh another thing, I read about this HICASS how would I know if my car had it, there aren't any stickers saying it, but than again I think the car was hit before we bought it, cute car though pretty fast, now if I would only remeber to tighten the sunroof. So I also want to know how easy it is to work on these cars ( I hate to get dirty lol ), and if there is many other dark blue 1993 hatchback's flyin' around town.... Oh last thing, the car idles pretty low when sitting if the A/C isn't on, thats just the timming right?:ylsuper

Ok here's the story of how I ended up with my car.. I am 15, and over the summer my dad being the car dealer he is can't pass up a good buy, so he knew I wouldn't turn up my nose a this car..... Anywho my dad's friend and I went up there in his really fast VW GTI VR 6, so I saw that someone was trading it in, and I said to my dad "so how much do they own that 240 for" :icesangel he said "we own it for $800" I was a little shocked, yes the car has hail damage, but I mean a fully loaded 1993 Nissan 240SX SE *dark blue at that* for 800? welcome blue240sx! sounds like you got a true interest in cars so it'll do you most good to just take some time out and read through threads here. Check out the 240 section and perform a search for things like HICAS and Low Idle. There's a lot of talented people here that own 240's and can offer a lot of good advice. Just make sure to please the Search gods first.
