Your going to need a 5w-30 type oil. That's what the owners manual recommends. You will also need 5qts of oil to fill it up with oil filter change.

FYI: When you change the oil yourself, you will also need a new crush washer (drain plug gasket) every time you remove the drain plug. *Don't expect your normal oil change facility to provide this for you. Here's where to buy the drain plug gaskets: http://www.infinitipartsusa.co...gid=0It's part number 12. They sell for $0.75 ea. You can pick these up at your local Infiniti parts department as well for about the same price. This should be enough info to get you going with your oil change---> LOL. Just kidding.....kind of..

Yes, you always need to replace the drain plug gasket.

I am not so sure you can put an 'x' on Tein springs. From what I remember reading, you can only use the Espelir springs. Don't hold me to it, but I would definitely check before installing any type of lowering spring on an AWD model.

If you try and get away with not replacing the crush washer (drain plug gasket), it'll leak. I learned that the hard way.

Yes, absolutely! I will add my voice to the others here. The drain plug is made of relatively soft copper and crushes down when tightened to the correct torque (20 ft-lbs. as I recall).

After you tighten a new one onto the engine, if you remove it for any reason - it MUST be replaced. So, never loosen the drain plug - "just to check" for example - unless you plan to change the washer too! Else the oil will leak from there.

The AWD system is particularly sensitive too all kinds of things. I would advise against changing the springs - although I don't have any specific knowledge of this.

Even mismatched tires (front axle to back axle) can cause long-term problems with the ATTESA system.
