Yup, I almost crushed my baby coming home today... I live in the mountains and I usually do some very spirited driving on the way home. However because of a recent mishap in my Z32 brake upgrade, I am running with stock calipers and almost worn out front pads and messed up rotors so I was taking easy.As I come along a series of twisties, I hear tires squealing... I haven't seen anyone drift or drive hard around here so I am curious... Just as I approach a tight leftie, I see this EK Civic, 2 door, front wheels fully locked and pointing right, and the car is just sliding forward out of control. The look on the driver's face is a mixture of panick and "please don't hit me" kinda feeling.I saw it all on slow motion, the car just sliding towards me, let go of the gas, hit the brake, heel-and-two, down to second, wheels to the left, foot back on the gas, countersteer, miss his right rear quarter panel by about an inch. I skid to a stop just as the Civic stops with the front wheels in someone's front yard. I proceed to get out of my car (pissed as the Devil when turn on the AC in hell), and walk up to the driver. It's a high school kid, hat backwards, huge tach in the car and misc useless gauges on the a-pillar. His girlfriend? is sitting shotgun obviously very shaken up. He just looks up and before he said anything I proceeded to smack the crap out of the back of his head. At this point he starts yelling."Man, Ima f**k u up!"I told him. "Bro, just try to step out of the car and you're done. I'm way to pissed off to just let u go".The girl is just staring at me so I tell her "And you are very pretty but very stupid for letting him do stupid **** like this while you are with him. If he wants to kill himself so be it, but you shouldn't let him take you down as well."'Just as he started to say something else, I walked back to my car, grabbed a pen and took down his license plate #. I told him "Don't let me find you around my house again doing stupid **** like this, because I have a 10 year old sister and if something happens to her because of a d!ck like you, I swear to God I'll kill you..."I then walked back to my S13 and peeled off towards my house...Sorry about the rant, it just pissed me off soooo much, I felt like I was going to explode.

Damn, personally, I woulda beat the piss outta him and stole his girlfriend. But you held yourself well. Shame there are idiots like that one the road, think he was trying to show his girl some "dr0rift0ing y0"? We got our share of that down here too, just no twisties.

Hahaha! That kid got PWNED! You slapping him in the back of the head is the equivalent of his mother doing the same thing and probably made him look like a absolute d!ck in front of his gf. Drivers like that need to RIDE THE BUS.

Good job holding back....It seems all ricers have HUGE tachs, for some reason, who knows why, but it is b/c of d!ck like this why my f-n insurance is 850/6mos..... o well, it will go way down in 2 years

i highly doubt he did. he probably looks down on the Nissan community as a bunch of self righteous know-it-alls.

great reflexes...even w/ ****ty rotors/pads, u managed to pull outta that 1. (sick of hearing 240's going to the graveyard around this time/wintertime is kinda a 'given').

driving around NYC has increased my skillz on the car &my little honda... but a close call w/ a big rig has put the bike in the garage for now (till i can afford a higher life insurance policy for the nicotots/wifey).

if you're still running on standard brakes w/ worn pads, give me an email: i'll ship u a set of new pads to u--free-- u pay shipping// non-abs equipped

Thanks for the support guys. I went back to the same turn today and I looked at the road where there are still skid marks from the happening. I actually have to say that I am quite pleased with the way the S13 handled, the line is very clean and I guess all the years of autoX and Rallying paid off in the end.*** I am only running on stock brakes for 2-3 more days. I have everything for the Z32 upgrade, just waiting for Nissan to ship me my brake mounting hardware and I'm set. Thanks for the offer though ...On the other hand, if anyone wants to get rid of a working Z32 Master Cylinder...

Thank goodness you're alright. I have yet to come face to face with someone trying to drift on blind corners/public roads. I like living in an area with less of those so everyone who wants to either learn/be an idiot depending on the mindset, can do so out of the way of me and my loved ones/cars.

Nah, up where I live is all mountains. It's pretty damn fun, but these kids need to stop being stupid. It ruins everyone's day in the end.

why didn't you kick his ***? a smack on the head just isn't enough. You need to beat it into him. At least grabs his keys and throw them afar.

No, what you did was perfect, its just enough to show him how much of ****in idiot he was, and how you handled that was awesome, throwing his keys would be ok, but kicking his *** can result in a lawsuit and is dumb.

Perfect example of controll there, gj!

HAHA I love it!! Imagine the awkward silence in his car while you walked away.

Losing it in the turn + getting smacked in the back of the head = major cool points lost with his gf.

btw, when I read this, I actually laughed out loud to the point where my wife came in and asked me what the hell was so funny. Good job!!
