So i stripped my interior and found this stuff that is pretty hard and sticky....its painted red along with the rest of the metal and im thinking to myself (this better not be what i think it is.....) so i pull some off and yes......it is the pain in the a$$ TAR.......does anyone know how to get it off other than a chisel and a hammer??? i got most of it off the floors today but i almost suffered a heat stroke in the sun.......today it was 89 with 100% humidity.....any advice would help thanks!! If you have done this before please tell me any trcks or anything you did that made it better....any i found some surface rust too...got rid of it with sand paper....it makes your fingers black tooo lol im sooo lost

Try using dry ice. I havent had the pleasure of removing any tar, but i hear that works a ton better than heating it up or just trying to take it off as is.

thats what my friend said also but how do you handle the dry ice? or do you just put it on and then slide it around....? maybe i can just lol
