Yay for wasting tax payer's money!!pandapants wrote:They're pel grants and scholarships so no paybacks or IOU's
I could use that excuse too. I work and pay taxes just like everyone else, ergo I paid for my toys... not youB!itch01 wrote: because as stated before that is property of the TAX PAYERS!
Correct. I have been paying for school out of pocket for the last year with no help from anyone, and just now started to receive financial aid.White Comet wrote:i didnt read the details real closely but i thought i read that the op paid the amount needed for school out of pocket and then received his financial aid money afterwords.
If I took out loans, which I haven't, I wouldn't spend it fixing up a 20 year old car.rico05 wrote:At least I used my loans to pay for my car and my grants to pay for school.
I found as a general rule that a lot of people are only happy if they think everyone else is as broke and miserable as they are.White Comet wrote:dude wtf? dont be so pissy, so what if he rewards himself after paying school out of pocket? its not like he's really ripping anybody off or scamming a charitable organization
If you recieve pell for school, that means that you and your family should be to broke to pay for school w/o it. If he can pay for it out of pocket then he shouldn't have pell. He IS ripping someone off. He is ripping off you and me and everyone else that pays that tax money. Think about it. If government hadn't taken that money out of your check and given it out like that; what could you have done with it? My husband and I payed in over 15k last year and still had to pay more when tax season rolled around.White Comet wrote:dude wtf? dont be so pissy, so what if he rewards himself after paying school out of pocket? its not like he's really ripping anybody off or scamming a charitable organization
this is Litterally the only thread you've posted in since you joined the site. so he used financial aid money to fund his hobby. he also payed for his school with HIS OWN MONEY. and then the government decided to GIVE him money for school anyway. boo f_ckln hoo. The government didnt take it all out of YOUR tax money anyway. they pulled it out of EVERYBODY's tax money. if you really want to feel like you matter here, im guessing you contributed about %.00000000025 of 1 penny to his finalcial aid. congradulations. if you want to be mad at anybody, write a letter to congress and ***** to them about "giving out YOUR taxmoney" to someone who doesnt need it. he didnt scam you, me, or anyone else for that matter. hes just the beneficiary of a flawed system. so STFU or GTFOB!itch01 wrote:

so you should be pissed at the government, they're the ones that accepted him for the pell grant. are you really blaming him for being eligible for a grant?B!itch01 wrote:

Powered By Max are great products!!! awesome customer service too. I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase and recommend them to everyone. My opinion is a little biased though. As I have nothing really to compare them to except my old rsr/agx combo.Ghast wrote:
But it looks amazing! so all in all would you say that the Powered By Max are a great brand? would you recommend them?
Again looks nice bro!
just save for coils. pbm is as cheap as your gonna get without losing qualityqstudent819 wrote:Lucky you man your car's stance is perfect. I would go with the same brand coilovers but its waaay outta of my price range.. Btw How were the rsr/agx combo????
Affordable was the only good thing about them. dampening on the agx's was too soft on the low settings and had way too much rebound on the high settings. The Rsr springs had a decent spring rate for daily driving but I simply wanted more out of that combo. Not to mention, the agx's blew out in the front after 6 months.qstudent819 wrote: ...btw how was the rsr/agx combo????
damn thats pretty rough, im rockin the agx's on my s13 but they came with the car when i bought it. i dont really like them but they are alot better than stock imo. on tein springs also, i'll sell them once i get my coils come january.pandapants wrote:

Thats what everyone tells me to buy coils but the streets where i live are pretty bad....also how will i ever drive over speed bumps ??? lol I want them because thats the only way my car will be slammedWhite Comet wrote:just save for coils. pbm is as cheap as your gonna get without losing quality
Wow thats crazy... i guess it is better to get coils because im hearing alot of bad things about the spring/strut combo, but it must be annoying avoiding every pot hole on the roadpandapants wrote:
