damn that looks great but i can't imagine myself driving something that low...1 finger gap all around is good enough for me.

Roads in gainesville are pure ****, but I'm gonna be a trooper and rock it for as long as I can.

what size/offset are those rear wheels? i'm looking for new 4lug wheels, and i'm split between some 17X9 +25 or those 962's in 17X9 +35,,, i'm just not sure what will fit the best without having to touch the fender,,,no rolling or pulling.

Only if it is excess from a loan you took out. Other than that the money is yours to do what you please with.

They're 17x7 +40. I had the 17x9 +35 in the rears but their tire life is non existent now so i did the good ol' switch-a-roo.

Get the 17x9 +25. They'll fit snug in the fenders with a good stretched tire. You'll need some spacers to clear the 962's +35 up front and with spacers, they'll fit the same as the +25.

save the money you would spend on spacers for something else

not if it is a "Grant" or a "scholarship" then you dont have to pay back ****

if it is a student loan then he will have to pay back what he got and intrest

and i hope he is not pissing away his money if it is a student loan

i have a good buddy who did that and he has no job and a crap load of bills

and with the economy doing funny things i would be cautious

or the OP

that looks good dumped but is it functional? i would think that there is a fine line between looking dumped and being able to drive daily

ouch. ooooouch.

ill get you pics as soon as the weather stops being crap. its just raining like a mofo out here...

and i ate through my previously tucked harness.... gotta pull it apart, reloom, tuck higher, and re-dump the car. then pics.

and perhaps some other treats may find their way onto my car in the meantime... maybe not. depends on weather/shipping time...

im not dissing your car, im simply stating that the pictures i have of your car are like a year old, and are about as low as the average slammed 240. i know it's probably lower now, and i would love to see some pics. your car is dope.

Im not "pissing" my money away. That's only half of what I get, and the other half I have saved for miscellaneous/ emergency things. I'm excited about my purchase and It's my well deserved gift to myself for the hard work I've done the past couple of months.
TRBOMOFO wrote:that looks good dumped but is it functional?
why wouldn't it? The only problem I'm having is some tire rub, which I hope Mr.greeneyes can help me with.

Mr.greeneyes- What do you have done to your wheel wells to tuck your tires? I've tried looking through your build thread for an answer but I only skimmed through the 10 pages of text and a lot of the pictures don't show.

see, and seeing **** like this kinda pisses me off. i "make too much" money per year to qualify for financial aid believe it or not. im 20 and i scrape by 17k/yr..

eh its whatever. looks good though, need a piggy lip on the chuki front end..then you'll really be touching the ground :]

and to reply to the wheel well modification..there's a seam running down the center of it, you need to take a hammer and bend it back onto itself, it'll eat your tires EVERY time. that and tuck your harness

after a blow out..

to me less then a finger gap is loooooow. but the only reason i rep it so hard is because i have personal experience with his set up and i love its aggressiveness yet streetability

im guessing that if i saw his car as you do, i would agree. i just want some new pictures to confirm this.
