I love how he says " their reasons for doing it... or not" and when we say" We don't cause it's a gay trend for ppl who can't think." It's not an acceptable reason. I love how it's "cool" when people think like you but because we have an opposing viewpoint we're "a whole bunch of ***holes who just like to argue". Of course thank you TMS for debunking another ricer myth. Like how many time have you heard "The cops in Japan won't chase you after x mph." or "The let you street drift in Japan, just watch initial d!"?charsiukitty wrote:Gee, I thought with this I'd get some decent responses from people who've done it (and their reasons for doing it... or not), not hear from a whole bunch of ***holes who just like to argue! Honestly, if ghostriding was "GAY", then why is it popular in Japan (the land where D1 and drifting are said to have originated?!) among other things? BTW, seeing how this post is going nowhere, anyone know how to delete a post?charsiukitty wrote:I know, I know. It's a stupid question, but has anyone ever "hyphy'd" their car? I've done it today and would like to hear about anyone's experiences, both good or bad.
Oh, before I forget, kudos to the guy that mentioned that the car tends to run away (mine did just that, but was still controllable).
P.S. "Hyphy" (pronounced "High-Fee") and "Ghostriding" is the same damn thing! Just ask Keek the Sneek!
This.AZhitman wrote:Ummm, I'm old, so bear with me... but I was under the impression that "hyphy" was a style of music.
"Ghostriding" a car is pretty much the pinnacle of gayness
Wrong forum. Try Honda-Tech. Or... aw, hell, I won't go there.charsiukitty wrote: Gee, I thought with this I'd get some decent responses from people who've done it
It's not. Who told you it was "popular in Japan"? MTV?charsiukitty wrote: Honestly, if ghostriding was "GAY", then why is it popular in Japan

SO, you're saying you failed to control your vehicle by not being in a position to brake or steer? That's flat-out stupid. What kind of weakdick excuse are you gonna use when your car runs over something (or someone)?charsiukitty wrote: kudos to the guy that mentioned that the car tends to run away (mine did just that, but was still controllable).
FAIL. It's NOT the same. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=hyphycharsiukitty wrote:P.S. "Hyphy" (pronounced "High-Fee") and "Ghostriding" is the same damn thing! Just ask Keek the Sneek!
Pretty much. The kids out here really embrace it. They run red lights, stop signs, fight over hos, etc...Rare_f8 wrote:Well.. letting your car move while you walk beside it... that's stupid...

How do I edit or delete a post?
Unless you are a board administrator or moderator, you can only edit or delete your own posts. You can edit a post by clicking the edit button for the relevant post, sometimes for only a limited time after the post was made. If someone has already replied to the post, you will find a small piece of text output below the post when you return to the topic which lists the number of times you edited it along with the date and time. This will only appear if someone has made a reply; it will not appear if a moderator or administrator edited the post, though they may leave a note as to why they’ve edited the post at their own discretion. Please note that normal users cannot delete a post once someone has replied.

Certainly staged, but I found it amusing that they picked their black friend to "steal" the car. Stereotyping ftw!themadscientist wrote:Proof that karma exists.
