I'l be replacing my tires soon, and since i can't find any Skyline GTR wheels for sale i'm staying 15". Should i get the Michellin Hydroedge or the new Goodyear Assurance Tripple Tread? Hydroedge would cost me $120 and TrippleTread would be $100 each. Or maybe some other tire?

I'm looking for noise comfort, allweather traction, long treadlife more than raw handling. Thats what my 240sx is for.

I know that the Hydroedge is only speed rated for S or T, which may or may not fit your application classification. In the the last year I've done a lot of tire research and I would also suggest (if your looking all season) Dunlop Sport A2's (scored highest for all-season performance tire in Consumer Reports Magazine the last two years running), I run them on my J30t, they are designed for rear wheel drive and handle excellant in rain, ice, snow, slush and dry pavement. I would also recommend Toyo, their TPT performance tire ranks the highest in Consumer Reports magazine for front-wheel drive performance all-seasons and I have a set on order for my Acura. I currently have Toyo's on my Jeep and have been very impressed, The tires have substantially cut down on my use of the "shift on the fly" 4WD. The tires are grippy in all weather and road conditions.

I would also consider Yokohama Avids, they are ranked quite high too!

Assuming it is for the Q45, the Tire Rack closeout of 235/60-15 Michelin XGTH would be your best bet.

I seem to remember on some older threads that the Michelin's wear best on the Q45, for whatever reason.

When is the search feature gonna be fixed?

EveryTire that has Aqua or Hydro is a warning that they are using MARKETING to sell imaginary benefits, which may not be as true as you are lead to believe.

Evem Michelin has been forced to compete in the bottom tier of low performance tires.http://www.tirerack.com/tires/....html

Notice that the Aqua 3 is horrible and the Hydro is not much better, both are pretty awful in wet performance compared to the Pilot H4 [99 vs 105 wet braking for Hydro] and an even larger spread in dry braking.

Thus the differences in Performance A/S vs. just run of the mill Passenger A/S tires.

The triple tread has a 740 treadwear index, they should be [shot burned in boiling oil] for exposing the public to such a tire. Because the tread must get very very very hard to last this long.

From one owner;"These are the worst tires Ive ever owned they dont do anything good when passing they act like you are on skis on dry pavement cornering in rain is just scary even at moderate speeds constantly veering side to side hope they wear out soon worst $500 ever spent "

Looks like they are poor compared to the Goodyear Eagle RS-A (see above link.) Since I know how bad a tire the Eagle RS-A is (had them on my wife's Acura), I cannot imagine how useless both the Aquatred 3 and Hydroedge must be! I would certainly stay way far away from them.

All those tires you guys suggested are all high performance, low tread life kind of tire that belongs on my 240sx. I've handled the Assurance Trippletread in person and its got a very strong sidewall and fairly soft rubber. Plus at my discounted price of $80 a tire its cheaper than one set of the michellins that wouldn't even last me half as long. Doesn't bother me if i can't autocross my Q45.

None of the suggested tires are suitable for autocross.

The Pilot XGTH are $70 each, which is $10 less than the Triple tread.

May I suggest you do a search on tire and read the previous posts? The tires you desire are commonly found on hybrid and electric cars for low rolling resistance, which means low cornering force, and extended braking distances. Additionally, these type of tires are not made for heavy performance sedans like the Q45. A lot of reading at http://www.tirerack.com after reading the previous posts will (hopefully) illuminate the errors inherit in your initial assumptions.

$70 for 20-30k miles? Or $80 for 80k fully warrantied by Walmart miles? Besides if they're not as soft and grippy i can throw the rear end out easier
