Has anyone here done any hydro graphics on their vehicles? I'm thinking of doing some of my engine compartment pieces, but I'm not personally experienced. Does it last? I assume there's no going back.

Have I offended someone or is it that no one is interested in my topics?

I assume it's nothing personal. Maybe weekend traffic on the topic will be better... Probably with contributions to the discussion too if anyone has actually done it.

I remember seeing a video of someone dipping wheels years ago. Interesting technology, but I don't know much about the longevity of it. Is it a better value than good ole spray paint?
I must have seen someone with dipped engine plastics in the m35/m45 forum but I have no idea where to get it done or how much to pay.

It is a fairly novel idea to me, but then I just recently got to powdercoating... Which is old tech to some.

Thanks EdBwoy. I wasn't really mad. I like the look and may do my underhood components like the fan shroud and engine cover.

Looks pretty good ! If I had engine covers and a clean engine bay, no doubt I'd be doing the dip.

Hydro is pretty durable. In most cases, it's as durable if not moreso than just regular ole spray paint.

I'm going to price it out at the local shops and see what they'd charge to do something like is in the first photo.
