i put togeather a plan to reman. my origional rockerarms/lifters to convert them from hydro to mech. adj. i have the plans worked out and it should be pretty easy. the question i have is can i use the orrgional cam or do i have to get a stage 1 to work with my solid lifters. another thing i need to find out is about what strength steel i need to use for my new lifter. it should match the valve and the orrigional lifter so if anyone knows where i can find that info it would be great.

my only other suggestion would be to get them heat treated at least, so there extra tough. Most machine shops should be able to do this for you. peace.
