Hydraulic oil

Anyone know what type of oil is used in the Hydraulic system on a 93 vert ?

EDIT: 10w motor oil.

okay, I was confused because the fluid is clear and the manual says to use SAE 10W motor oil.

i just checked my FSM, and it sure does say it uses 10w motor oil. And i was looking at my pump resevoir, and it's motor oil. I edited my original post to reflect that.

What gets me is that I SWORE i thought the FSM said ATF, and ATF would make sense since it's a hydrolic fluid. Regular motor oil just doesn't sound like it would work for a hydrolic system.

\ My 93 leaks out all the fluid from pump, is the pump supposed to run after I turn off key?

The pump shouldnt run after you let go of the convertable switch. Either your switch is shorting out or you pump is.
