Okay im removing my factory handbrake and going with a hydraulic one. I like the glowshift brand handbrake is it better than godspeed or are they both good? Also im confused on one thing so you run the line from your master cylinder from the firewall to the in port on the handbrake and then the out port on the hand brake goes to your existing rear brake line. now heres what i dont get wheres the check valve cause with out one wont the pressure blow off the cap on the master cylinder with out a check valve? also do you install a bias adjuusting proportioning valve before the handbrake or after the handbrake on the out side and is an adjustable proportioning valve nessasary. This is my daily driver and drift car so i need the e brake to work for inspection and i need a good e brake for drifting so i figured id just convert it since my factory e brake doesnt hardly work

There is no need for a check valve because the hand brake will only ”force” fluid one direction. If your that worried about it they do make 1 and 2 psi check valves. You wouldn't want a full one way check valve because once the brakes were pressed.... The rear brakes would stay fully locked. The hydro ebrake will not effect your normal brakes when not activated so you can install a brake bias before or after .... Doesnt matter. Imo a bias will not help you're brakes that much because the proprtioning is all done in the master cylinder on most nissans. Easiest way to run your hydro is disconnect the rear line where it connects into the T for the rears, run that to your hydro inlet and then buy a new line and run it from your hydro outlet to the rear T for the rears. As far as brand..... No idea. I know that wilwood makes the best hydro master cylinders for handbrakes..... Other than that, its personal preference on the handle setup.
