Has anyone found a good source for a replacement hydraulic cylinder for the top?

The prior owner had quit lowering the top and the seal on top of the cylinder dried out and blew. Probably need to replace both..........

Hmmmmm.

Sounds like a dealer-only item.

Might be a parted-out 'vert floating around, be sure to check all the threads here in the vert forum.

if you're mechanically inclined, check with the dealer about a rebuild kit. it might save you a few bucks.

and just a note, the seals won't dry out from not being used. they'll deteriorate when they haven't been kept clean. exposure to the weather doesn't help either. thus the need for the top boot. it keeps everything covered up.

For conv owners info: I found one of these, new from "hydroe.com" . $135 plus shipping. Very easy installation.
