Hybrid volts ?

In 2014, the G37 Sedan became Infiniti Q50. G37 Coupe and Convertible became Infiniti Q60 under Infiniti's new naming structure - Here's the place to discuss the Q50 and Q60!

2015 3.5 Q50 Hybrid connected the OBD2 in,, and fired the car up on "tickover," one reading its thowing out is the "high voltage discharge power" what should be in kw? as my one is showing 43.25 KW. am I right in thinking it should be around 68Kw if it was 100% spot on? or?

Othere outputs say "high voltage" battery level 81%

also; "high voltage" battery voltage level 388.5 V

and "high voltage"charging power 8 kw

what indicators do these results seem show ? Anyone..... :gotme

The spec on the battery is 1.4kWH, 96 cells rated at 346V. That's about 3.6V per cell, but at full charge they'll go above 4V and give you near 400V total. Don't confuse SOC (state of charge) with SOH (capacity). SOC is how much of the present capacity the battery is charged to, SOH is how much of the original capacity in kWH the battery can deliver. SOH can be read from the LBC (battery controller), but I'm not sure what an aftermarket scanner would call the parameter.

Ummm, sorry, a little bit too technical for me, I just thought I would plug the reader in and see what came out, lots of cleared “old errors”, low volts, heating problems, bla,bla errors with this and that, a shopping list but other than the Auto pilot, which appears to be the switch, everything seems to run just fin. But s said, its off Monday for a day or 2, and good service and examination and battery test, auto pilot fix, and belt check with Infiniti service. So, Tuesday or Wednesday next week I hope I will have a better insight and know what I have. A good-sized bill that’s for sure. Lol. But I think I get some of what you say.. ahah Maybe
