Hey guys,

I finally got the money together to finish my engine stuff and I need to get my intercooler this week. I think I remember someone on here buying one of those Hybrid intercooler kits on ebay. I have a few questions, do you have to relocate the battery to the trunk? and if so, how did you do it? And also, what did you have to do to the cold pipe to get it to fit on the CA throttle body?

Thanks for your help! I cant wait to get this car on the road!

i bought a hybrid kit off ebay...i cant answer yer CA throttle question as i have a SR20...but its an awesome intercooler...HUGE bastard too...unless you wanna buy a smaller optima battery (i think thats who makes the small form factor ones) you will need to relocate the battery to the trunk (i recommend this as it frees up room for better cold pipe placement)...this FMIC will help ALOT with mid to top range power...on my SR it added about 45 HP to the crank which is very impressive for just one bolt on...im sure you could get a modified cold pipe for the CA if the SR one does not fit...but its deffinatly worth it

Ryan (float_6969) has one... he likes it. I believe someone else has one too... maybe joe? They used the SR piping and cut it and rotated it to make it work... I have a picture of Joe's set up on my cardomain page:)

I got the S15 kit, comes with the hotpipe. I love it. Very happy with it. You will have to relocate the battery though. You can use a smaller one, but there is no way to bolt it down, and if it's not secured you can't drag/autoX with it.
