Two weeks into ownership of a 2008 Hybrid Altima, Precision Grey. Sweet car. I'm still learning all the extras - GPS, Nav, voice-activation stuff, etc - and the CVT transmission. Very well done car and fun to drive. If you are in SoCal, I highly recommend Vern at Connell Nissan; stay far, far away from HB Nissan. I haven't seen any other owner posts on this forum, so let's hear from Hybrid owners!

Welcome to NICO...

You are the first hybrid owner I have seen on here. How do you like it thus far? How's acceleration and fuel economy?

I'm very much enjoying the car. It is extremely well-made, quiet, tight, everything works and no glitches. Not clear yet on the mileage...I've been travelling (by air) and I've only put a couple hundred miles on it so far. I'm pretty sure there's a display that calculates it, and I plan on spending time this long weekend to really get to know everything.

Acceleration is what I'd expect from a 4 cylinder 2.5 engine and I don't have any issues with it. As a hybrid, it switches between EV and gas as it needs to, and the only thing I notice is how quiet the EV mode is...almost like the car shut off. I call it "stealth mode"!

Congrats on the new car. And congrats on being the first hybrid here, I think. Welcome to NICO!

Good deal.

I would not totally trust the mpg display as I have noticed they are usually 4-5mpg high. The best thing to do is calculate via fillup.
