It says its designed for 6 cylinder engines of 5.0 to 6.5 liter capacity

NOT a 1.8 liter 4 cylinder

"LakeS13" of sxoc ran a H1E a few years back, 396hp on stock ca18.

Holsets come in so many flavours, I'd stick to the same size I've seen run on a 1.8L dohc motor if expecting similar results - play it safe.

I don't even look at compressor maps as real world results are my guiding star. Example;First guy I seen bolted a HX35 from a 5.9L Cummings onto his 2.3L sohc ford, 1984 stock bopttom end.Daily driven dyno'd 420+whp with excellent tq & response, 10.8s ET!I doubt a compressor map would have told him all that

Perhaps it would have?!?!??? A compressor map might as well be written in greek, they are just too much for my tiny undeveloped brain to handle.

i've actually studied the compressor maps on the hx35 and it has a wider efficiency band than some high end turbos. im thinking i may try it and plan to build the bottom end or at least get forged pistons and other supporting mods

Alright. I get home in about three weeks and these are the parts that will be waiting for me. Im going to stick with the stock bottom end to see how it holds and and save for a nice rebuild. I'll be using the AEM EMS with the UEGO sensor, 1000cc Precision injectors, the HX35W with custom downpipe and charge pipe, Nismo fuel pressure regulator, and a 300zxTT Fuel pump. Things i hve ?'s on are will i need drop resistors since i have the aem, and what are my choices if i want to switch to a MAP sensor in place of the MAF
