Hwy speed @ 3k RPM?

Planning to pick up a coupe soon and was wondering what speed is the car @3k rpm in 6th/overdrive?
85? or 80.

I don't get what you mean by 6th/overdrive. I have the CVT(auto) but there is no overdrive. I've kept it at 3K RPM from 20mph up to 119MPH without moving the needle away from 3K.

edit: wow thats new to me as I never had a CVT car.. 3k rpm @ over 110 mph, and automatics are suppose to rev higher than manual from what I know..hmmm

i can't help you there since mine isn't manual. But yea the CVT is pretty weird. Takes a while to get use to but i think it's pretty cool. it gives you the power right when you need it without having that rough transition of gears that normal automatics undergo. I would have gotten the manual transmission but I commute back and forth in bumper to bumper traffic.

as for your post, i'm sure someone with a 6MT will chime in and let you know what speed is at 3K

6th gear will get you to 90mph at 3k rpm

I'm still tripping about the 110+mph on the cvt though..crazy stuff.
