My heater (95 s14)/a/c fan settings only works on high 4,.. 1,2,3 dont do anything no air passes through vent. What could be the problem I know of a local s14 being parted out, which part would need replacing or would something be stuck..motor?

It certainly sounds like your fan resistor module is shot. This module contains a group of resistors which reduces current to the fan motor, giving you the progressivley slower speeds. The #4 fan speed setting doesn't use this module, so that's why it's the only speed that works.

I believe it's an easy replacement, although I've never had to do it on my altima, let alone any other vehicle. It should be a pretty cheap component straight from the dealership, and DIY job.

99% chance of it being a blower resistor. piece of cake too. buy the part and look under the pass side of the dash. you will see it under there. 2 or 3 bolts and an electrical connector.
