You guys have me convinced that the HO window tinting is the way to go. In Sacramento, we will have numerous consecutive days of 100+ heat each year. I completed the contact info at the HO website to locate the nearest dealer and the closest dealer is Sparks, NV. Anybody have any idea if there's something closer?

Be careful what you do to your front windows. You live in California and the cops there can stop and cite you if your front windows are tinted. That probably would be a fix it ticket. The bad thing is that it gives them an excuse to stop you if they are looking for a reason.

Call some of the better window tinting shops, they might carry it.

Talk to your local Mercedes Benz dealership, and find out where they have the tint done when they get a broken window... as well as body shops that work on Mercedes.

After some research, it looks like Mercedes Benz uses Huper Optik tint as a standard feature.

Thanks folks. Will try the Benz dealerships. I'm just having the rear three windows tinted. I know that in CA, anything near or forward of the driver is banned.
