I am about to embark on hunting a new piece of public hunting ground I found. Let's see if I can get a big whitetail buck within bow range.

the area was too pressured. Saw one small doe. Had about 5 hunters walk beneath my stand throughout the course of my hunt. Looks like that ownt be a good spot either.

Good luck to ya hope you find a nice spot without unwanted visitors. Luckily in Arkansas my cousin owns 950acres and 600 of it is woods. We flood the woods for ducks. Deer still go through the woods though, he got a 14point last year. I'm more of a duck hunter myself.

I'm obscenely bad with a bow...

I need to buy a good one and practice sometime I suppose...I may however go handgun hunting sometime soon...gots this .44Mag Smith at the house...
