Humming noise in my 99 Max SE

My road dog is a 99maxSE 202,000 & rolling good for the most part.....I am having a loud humming noise that I can't quite ID..........My water pump ? My alternator/beaings?......a pulley ? ...Jus trying to find a good place to start......I plan to keep my baby til the wheels fall off....trying to be proactive....I've been trying to replace things a little bit @ a time you know....I have no leaks etc.......ANY HELP would be greatly appreciated...........and...is it FOOTBALL SEASON YET!!!!!

Where is the humming noise coming from?

Is it when the vehicle is stationary or when driving? What speeds?

Use a mechanic's stethoscope, from Sears ($20) or Harbor Freight ($6).
