Icecreamists founder Matt O'Connor was confident his take on the "miracle of motherhood" and priced at a hefty 14 pounds ($23) a serving will go down a treat with the paying public.

The breast milk was provided by mothers who answered an advertisement on online mothers' forum Mumsnet.

Victoria Hiley, 35, from London was one of 15 women who donated milk to the restaurant after seeing the advert.

Hiley works with women who have problems breast-feeding their babies. She said she believes that if adults realized how tasty breast milk actually is, then new mothers would be more willing to breast-feed their own newborns.

"What could be more natural than fresh, free-range mother's milk in an ice cream? And for me it's a recession beater too -- what's the harm in using my assets for a bit of extra cash," Hiley said in a statement.

I'm really not all that grossed out by it. As long as it's pasteurized and the people it was milked from didn't do any drugs then I'd give it a taste.

Yeah, I couldn't really care either. I'd try it, but then again, I'd try anything at least once.

I prefer mine on-tap. :bigthumb:

"free-range mother's milk" Yeah, those cages up mothers with the machines hooked up to their udders don't produce quality product.

This is strange. If my wife gets pregnant and the offer is made, I'd try it. Beyond that, no.

What about sweat?

They have bars in Tokyo where you can, shall we say, "cut out the middleman." Get it? I know you do.

 Ugh .... what's next, having the neighbor's lactating wife breast-feed your baby? Don't even get started on homemade lemonaide. This is kinda weird. Jeez, I thought this would be a post about a creative mom using her own breast-milk to make a cool tasty treat for her own baby. :squint: Anybody else seeing mutants here?

You might be creeped out, (much like any girl that dates Nala), but I suppose there are some that might say "thanks for the mammaries". :)

While this is beginning to wreak of udder ridiculousness, it is nice to see you got that off your chest and we can remain bosom buddies. :dblthumb:

So this smooth new man-diet, in conjunction with human breast milk includes a couple of ripe melons and some jugs of DD coffee. Really makes you feel like coming over the mountains and through the woods for that fresh cup, huh? Bring your bags, I hear it's loads of fun!

I would say it's more like SKIM the surface of insanity. I prefer to think that we're keeping aBREAST of the latest trend and not just MILKING it for cheap jokes..

True story: I used to work for Home Depot many years ago. A fairly attractive lady came up to me holding a couple of items and asked, "What to you think of these knockers?" .... yes, door knockers. I about peed myself. She blushed. We ate cake. ... Okay, the cake part's not true.
