WTF are kids doing in class with a cell phone? And if you have a problem, why didnt the student follow the chain of command and report the incident to a guidance counselor or the office (principal)?
This is why teachers are part of a union. Because if they get sued or suspended for something they didn’t do, they automatically have legal representation.
Speaking of cell phones, my wife took a student’s cell phone away (yesterday) and was threatened by a 4th grader who would ‘rain down a world of hurt’ on her. This was after a 2nd grader called her a b****.
